2. How are shipping rate charges calculated - by item, by weight, or volume?
Shipping charges are based on total weight and volume, not by individual items. Typically, three large capacitor kits, three power supply kits, and a tube of heat sink compound can all fit inside a small flat rate box for one low shipping price. Another example would be one MOB cap kit, one PSU cap kit and a tube of Arctic Silver Thermal paste would all fit in one box, for one low shipping price. When larger quantities of products are purchased, the shipping charges go up accordingly. The shipping charges will also be plainly seen on the checkout page, depending on destination, order quanties, and shipping selected within the USA.

We offer worldwide shipping to many of the countries around the world. However, if you do not see your country listed below as a destination, please contact me. Send me an email and I will look into adding your country to the destination country shipping list.

1. US Deliveries: How quickly will my order arrive for USA USPS Priority Mail delivery?
You can expect your order, via USPS Priority Mail, to arrive in three to five days, but possibly sooner for USA delivery.
2. International Deliveries: How long does it take for worldwide international shipments to arrive?
World wide international shipping via USPS Priority Mail International takes longer than domestic delivery. USPS Priority Mail International service offers 6-10 (business days) average business days delivery. Note: 10 business days could be as long as two weeks, possibly a day or two longer depending on what the US Postal Service counts as the full day, plus holidays. Historical data has shown that delivery to some countries varies on the shorter side of the average delivery time, while other countries are on the longer side of the average delivery time. Note also that Customs on occasion may detain packages for a period of time by the receiving country's customs agency.
Please be a bit patient on the international deliveries. I ship those out almost as soon as I receive them in order to get it there as quickly as possible, as I understand everyone wanting to get the parts as quickly as possible. USPS Priority Mail is a reasonable price and good service. If you wanted Federal Express or UPS delivery it would cost an arm and a leg for the customer, and simply be way too expensive for you and very time consuming on my end. USPS has been extremely reliable even when considering the Customs office on the receiving end.
01. Why are there different Apple iMac G5 PowerPC MOB capacitor kits available for sale?
There are two different types of motherboards used in the earlier Apple iMac G5 computers. The early 17 and 20 iMac G5 PPC models used a total of 20 capacitors of one type and 5 of the other type. Whereas, late model, newer Apple iMac G5 PPC computers require 24 capacitors of one type and 5 of the other type. Hence, the difference in the total amounts required for each kit. Also included are some other iMac capacitor kits for later versions of the G4 and G5 computers. Notes: All capacitors are brand new, low ESR, high temperature rated (105 degree C), motherboard grade and switching power supply grade ratings. All iMac G5 MOB capacitors are the exact diameters and heights (10mm X 16mm) originally installed on the iMac G5 mother boards. Please verify the total number of capacitors in your iMac before making a purchase. Once shipped, all sales are final.
02. Power Supply Question: Why are there so many different Apple iMac G5 PowerPC PSU capacitor kits available for sale?
Apple contracted out to a number of power supply manufacturers for different model power supply units to be built. As such, there are different capacitor kits for each of the different model power supply units. Please verify which iMac G5 model power supply you have in your iMac before making an online purchase. Once shipped, all sales are final.
03. Help, I don't see my power supply listed or my iMac G5 MOB is different; what can I do?
If your power supply unit does not match to what you see in the Apple iMac G5 PSU Comparisons page, please contact me. Also note that due to the differences in configurations of the various power supplies, the best way to match your type is to do a visual comparison and not by part number. If your iMac G5 motherboard does not seem to match what you see in the online MOB documentation, you may have a newer model iMac G5 iSight model or an Intel based Apple iMac G5 Model. The procedures for MOB removal and repair are different on the newer Apple iMac models.

Please read in detail the complete how-to guide for capacitor replacements. Please read over the Apple iMac G5 early models procedure for disassembly and capacitor replacement of Revison "A" and "B" models. Also, it is a good idea to read the details of the iMac G5 Mother Board Repairs and the iMac G5 PSU Repairs procedures for additional insights and comments. The number one basic tool required is a good quality, wide tip, high wattage, quick heat recovery, soldering iron. Once again, I need to reemphasize the need to carefully read over the entire procedure before you decide if this is something you want to tackle. I highly recommend the 12-in-1 screwdriver. This screwdriver has all the various small Torx tips required for disassembly of the Apple G5 Computers.
05. How long does the Apple iMac MOB repair and capacitors installation procedure take?
Replacing the capacitors on the mother board depends on your experience level on working with electronics. I would suggest planning on three to five hours of time for the MOB repair procedure to completely remove all the major internal components, including the power supply, hard drive, super drive, memory, and of course the motherboard. and then to replace capacitors, and finally reassemble the internal components. The amount of time required for the PSU repairs are typically shorter. Take your time to do it right; do not rush the project. 06. Will you repair my Apple iMac G5 for me?
At this time, due to my busy schedule, I am not repairing other iMacs. This might change in the future, but for now, I can only provide email support.

I guarantee all capacitors are brand new, fresh from the factory floor, and are the values, ratings, sizes and quality reported. Sorry, I can not take back unused capacitors.
